Seasonal fresh fruit makes for a nice dessert. You can serve it by itself or try
any of these options:
Just use your imagination. If you take fruit and heat it up in some way, it
makes for a rich and satisfying dessert.
• Make a fresh fruit salad with your favorite seasonal fruits. Season the salad
with citrus juice.
• Top fresh fruit with vanilla soy yogurt.
• Add fresh fruit such as chopped apple to a small baking dish. Top with
walnuts, brown sugar, and cinnamon and bake at 350 until apples are soft.
• Do the same as above, but try pears, peaches, blueberries or different
varieties of apples instead. You can also experiment with the nuts and the
spices. This makes a nice replacement for apple, pear, blueberry, or peach
cobbler or crisp.
• Grill fresh pineapple slices or bananas. Slice the banana in half cross wise
and sprinkle with cinnamon.
